AU PAIR CULTURAL FAIR AT BOSTON CHILDREN'S MUSEUM ON MARCH 21
BOSTON, MA – On Sunday, March 21, Au Pair in America, the nation’s first and largest au pair provider, will host its bi-annual Cultural Fair at the Boston Children’s Museum from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The Cultural Fair, organized by local Au Pair in America counselors from the greater Boston area, provides a great opportunity for families who are looking for child care to learn more about the program. Au Pair in America host families and their au pairs will be in attendance along with Au Pair in America staff to answer questions.
Parents and their children will get to visit countries all over the world without leaving the room! Attendees will view native dances and costumes, play games from different countries created by au pairs from Au Pair in America as the au pairs share their cultures and customs with the families. Children will even get a “passport” stamped at each country table. It promises to be an entertaining and educational afternoon for children and adults to share together.
“The cultural fair is a great opportunity to get first-hand information about the many different countries where current au pairs originate from,” states Heidi Schnabel, the local counselor for the program in Holliston. “And with both families and au pairs present, one can really get a true feel of the program from all perspectives.”
Families interested in learning about the au pair program are welcome to attend the free event at the Boston Children’s Museum on 308 Congress Street in Boston. Please RSVP to Au Pair in America community counselor Heidi Schnabel at (617) 735-8989.
The nation’s first and largest au pair program, Au Pair in America offers live-in child care that includes a legal J-1 visa, screening, medical and liability insurance, flight arrangements, four-day orientation including Red Cross child safety training and 24/7 local support.
